The Role

We are currently seeking skilled  CWB Journeyman Welders for our fabrication shop in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Day and Night Shifts available. 

Please note: This role is strictly for By-hand CWB Welders. 

Compensation/Benefits

  • Competitive wage with excellent hourly compensation
  • Overtime after 8 hours per day.
  • 6% vacation pay and  4% stat holiday pay on all regular hours.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality welding using FCAW and MCAW processes to CWB standards
  • Interpret drawings, blueprints and welding procedures
  • Weld structural components and materials according to project specifications
  • Ensure all welds meet or exceed CWB and internal quality requirements
  • Maintain welding equipment and a clean, safe working environment

Experience/Education/Qualifications

  • Registered Journeyman Welder 
  • Valid CWB qualifications
  • Current FCAW and MCAW tickets
  • Previous experience in fabrication shop and/or field work
  • CSTS 2020 Fundamentals (including WHMIS 2015)
  • May be required to complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test for certain sites
  • Must have or be willing to obtain necessary site-specific safety tickets and orientations
  • Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
