The Role

We are seeking experienced Project Coordinators to join our team in Northwestern BC. This role is camp-based on a rotation schedule subject to client requirements (ie. 14 on/14 off, 18 on/10 off, etc.), with a travel allowance provided. These remote project roles will be working 12 hour days.  This role is ideal for organized, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, industrial environment. You will support project managers in planning, coordination, documentation, and communication to ensure smooth project execution.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Monitor project costs and budgets, and assist with reporting.
  • Assist in change management and any scope impacts.
  • Facilitate communication between on-site teams and head office.
  • Support health, safety, and quality compliance on all projects.
 

Skills/Education/Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering Technology, Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in project coordination within industrial, oil & gas, mining, or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems (HSE, ISO, CSA standards) in industrial settings.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders including engineers, superintendents, contractors, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to use project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing reports, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Ability to analyze data, track progress, and identify risks or issues proactively
  • Problem-solving mindset, able to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with diverse teams 
  • Comfortable working in a remote, camp-based environment, including rotation schedules, and able to adapt to changing project demands.
  • Must be legally eligible to to work in Canada 
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and adhere to all site safety requirements.
